Penny was brought to the local Animal Control by her former owners.  She was scared and terrified.  The volunteers finally won her trust.  Due to her sweet face she was given a second change when Mid Atlantic German Shepherd rescue told us they would help her.  It was clear that she had not had an easy life and she had come along way.  While she waited for her transfer she settled in to her den at the Adoption Center and won the hearts of many with her gentle spirit. 

She was transferred to her group on August 22 and found her forever home on September 9. 

There are so many homeless animals waiting.  Please consider opening your heart to on of these precious souls.  Together you will create a bond and memoires to last a life time.
